Insights

We provide high-performance inks for flexographic and gravure printing, including PU-based, NC-free, solvent-based, and water-based systems. Our portfolio covers a broad spectrum of applications, from food and pet food to industrial and household packaging.

Yes. We offer dedicated ink systems for mono-material structures like PE/PE, PP/PP, and BOPE, which enable easier recycling and reduce the environmental impact of multilayer packaging. These inks ensure excellent printability and strong lamination bonds while meeting food contact regulations.

NC-free (Nitrocellulose-free) inks are designed to replace traditional NC containing inks and improve the mechanical recyclability of packaging materials.NC Free inks offer comparable performance to traditional NC inks while being chemically more stable at recycle temperatures.

Yes. Our ink technologies support recyclable and deinkable packaging, especially when combined with mono-material films. These inks are developed to be printed on different structures /materials and  comply with  CEFLEX and RecyClass guidelines, ensuring minimal interference during mechanical recycling and optimal adhesion for barrier coatings.

We integrate sustainability at every stage—from formulation to application. This includes:

  • PVC- and NC-free inks
  • Low-VOC water-based systems
  • Solvent recovery options
  • Bio-based raw materials
  • Solutions that facilitate recyclability or compostability

Absolutely. Our inks meet the strict requirements of EU Regulations and other global standards. We offer low-migration products  for food packaging materials .

Our experts offer on-site technical support, Mixing Station installation support services in hardware and software along with data base installation procedures , troubleshooting, training, and process optimization. We also assist in ink and coating selection for new packaging structures or performance targets.

Yes. We specialize in tailor-made ink systems to match specific substrate, process, or end-use demands. From high-speed printing presses  excellent ink performance and to applications with  retort or high demanding properties , we adapt our formulations to your performance needs.

Our inks ensure:

  • Excellent ink transfer and printability  at high speeds
  • Superior lamination bond strength
  • Ultra low solvent retention
  • Outstanding resistance to heat, chemicals, and abrasion
  • Vibrant and consistent color performance

We offer a variety of functional and aesthetic coatings, including:

  • Overprint varnishes (gloss, matte, tactile)
  • Oxygen barrier coatings
  • Heat seal  lacquers
  • Release Lacquers

We prioritize speed and precision. Most inquiries are addressed within 24–48 hours, and our technical support team is available both remotely and on-site to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Whether you print snack pouches, pet food bags, or pharma wraps, we take the time to understand your:

  • Substrate and end-use requirements
  • Print method and run speed
  • Performance and regulatory needs

Our local teams and lab services work side-by-side with your on site technicians.

Yes, and purposefully so. Our recent developments include:

  • The PU Ultima Series, designed for recyclable mono-material packaging
  • Barrier coatings, cold-seal release, and recyclable inks
  • Tailored products for high-speed flexo and gravure lines

Innovation at DRUCKFARBEN means real-world performance, not just lab talk.
