Common Questions
A Technical Data Sheet (TDS) provides information about a product’s performance characteristics and application guidelines, such as recommended substrates, viscosity range, drying parameters, lamination suitability, and printing recommendations.
A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) focuses on health, safety, and environmental information. It includes details on chemical composition, hazard classification, handling precautions, storage, transport, and emergency measures in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, CLP).
Some general resources are publicly available. However, technical documentation such as specific TDS, compliance declarations, or regulatory certificates may require account registration to ensure proper version control and secure access. If you need assistance, our team can provide direct support.
Our Ink Calculator is designed to help converters accurately estimate ink consumption and optimize production planning.
The calculator includes two estimation methods:
- By weight of printed material
- By surface area of printed material
One version of the calculator is based primarily on the ink transfer rate. However, we also provide estimation sheets that use Dry Solids (%) as the main parameter.
Using Dry Solids % offers a key advantage: it is more specific and measurable, and less affected by external variables compared to ink transfer rate. This results in more reliable and consistent consumption estimates.
In addition, we offer practical calculation tools that support:
- Conversion of additive or second component percentages into exact kg or gram quantities, reducing dosing errors and simplifying press preparation
- Conversion between meters and kilograms (and vice versa) for printed substrates such as films
These tools are designed to make daily production planning easier, minimize waste, and improve operational accuracy. For customized support, our technical team is available to assist.
Our documentation is available mainly in English, while selected information is available in regional languages depending on the market. Please contact us and we will assist accordingly.
If you cannot find a specific TDS, SDS, statement of composition, or certificate, please submit a request through our contact form or reach out to your local representative.
Technical documents are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect formulation improvements, regulatory changes, and production updates. We recommend always using the latest version available and confirmation from our team members.
