About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Quality Control Analyst to join our inks and coatings production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting rigorous quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished ink products. Your work ensures we maintain strict compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials and final ink/coating batches (viscosity, pH, color, drying time, adhesion, etc.).
- Approve or reject materials and finished products based on test results and defined quality thresholds.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and technical service teams to troubleshoot quality deviations.
- Maintain accurate lab records, COAs (Certificates of Analysis), and QC documentation for traceability and audits.
- Assist in the development and validation of testing methods for new ink products and customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure lab equipment is calibrated and maintained regularly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in line with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies and ISO 9001/14001 standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory role, preferably in the ink, coatings, paint, or chemical industries.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments such as viscometers, spectrophotometers, grind gauges, and pH meters.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO, REACH, RoHS).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing/laboratory setting.
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies and ISO 9001/14001 standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with color matching and colorimetry software/tools.
- Understanding of printing technologies (flexo, offset, gravure, digital).
- Prior involvement in customer complaint analysis or root cause investigations.
